The unofficial archives of Tiverton Town Football Club
Kevin Nancekivell | |
22/10/1971 | |
An attacking midfielder who was signed from Bideford in 1996, Nancekivell was an instant hit and scored in each of his first twleve league appearances for Tiverton, and twice finished as the season’s top goalscorer. 'Nance' will go down as one of the best players to ever pull on a Tivvy shirt and he was the energetic driving force behind the teams that won consecutive FA Vase finals and gained promotions in 1999 and 2001. A brief time away at Plymouth Argyle did little to temper his appetite for goals and he retired in 2004 having scored 162 goals for the club. Now works with Plymouth’s Youth Development scheme. |
