Pete Conning | |
18/10/1964 | |
A calming influence amongst the Tiverton squads that moved up from the Western League to the Southern League in 1999, Conning was the first player to have won both the FA Trophy and FA Vase when, in 1998, he added the Vase to his Trophy triumph of 1986 when he was playing at Altrincham. He played professionally at Rochdale and Yeovil Town, and once his playing days were over he returned to Tiverton for a brief stint as Assistant Manager. |
