Yorkshire-born striker who progressed through the ranks and made his professional debut for Rotherham United in 1983 before transfering to Torquay United the following year. Durham spent two seasons at Plainmoor but was not able to establish himself in the first team, making 28 appearances and scoring three goals, and dropped into the non-league game with Saltash United. Scored 41 times in an 18-month spell at Tiverton from September 1989, and moved on to Taunton Town.
