Rarely does a player have such a positive impact in non-league football, but Josh is one of a rare breed who became an instant hit with the Tivvy fans following his arrival in 2011. He had been a member of Exeter City’s Centre of Excellence and his exciting and direct attacking play soon saw him installed as a fan’s favourite. Dubbed Tivvy’s Messi by the supporters, Josh is comfortable playing on either wing and it wasn’t long into his career with the Yellows that he began to realise his potential as he hit a purple patch and scored six goals in two fruitful months. A pre-season injury disrupted the start to his second campaign at the club but he quickly re-established himself as a key attacking threat in the team, and he was one of few Tivvy players that survived the Clarkson era to emerge unscathed and still at the club ready for the 2014/15 season. However, that campaign was again fraught with injuries and he was more often out than in the team, his absence paving the way for a move to Taunton Town in June 2015 |
