The unofficial archives of Tiverton Town Football Club
Peter Rogers | |
22/04/1953 | |
A regular at Exeter CIty in the early 1980s, Rogers joined Tiverton from Gloucester City along with cousin Martyn. He had also truned out in the Conference for Bath City and Weymouth. Although never prolific, Rogers' role as a creative attacker saw him help City to the FA quarter final in 1981, and he was an instrumental part of the jigsaw, along with former Exeter teammate Dick Forbes, as Tiverton layed the foundations for their success in the 1990s.
