The comprehensive history of Tiverton Town Football Club
Paul Maxwell | |
A frustrating professional career that took in Plymouth Argyle, Bristol City and Burnley failed to materialise into anything more than youth and reserve team football, and after a spell at Slough Maxwell signed as cover for Tiverton in 1998, playing three times for the Yellows. He retired from playing at a young age due to ankle and knee injuries but has since stayed in the game as a physio and has worked at the likes of Torquay United, Aberdeen, Millwall, and then back at Plymouth, before moving on to Stoke City in the summer of 2010. He left Stoke following the departure of manager Tony Pulis and since went on to work with Forest Green Rovers and Bristol Rovers with varying degrees of success and appreciation. |
